A new start

Its been a long time since I have updated this page.
I set-up a new planted tank since I have more time to be at home.
Thanks to a good friend who is willing to give me his 2x1x1 crystal glass tank.

2ft x 1ft x 1ft crystal glass tank

For the substrate, I am currently using a very simple soil mix which can be purchases at any nurseries. Used about 15 litre of it to fill up the tank.
Soil mix -5 litre

Took me about 3 days to get the scape that I am looking for. But it still failed me as the theme that I wanted to follow is not there.
Scaping

Flora that were tied to the bogwood as well as planted to the soil
Flora that were either planted or tied were :

4)  Spiny mossTaxiphyllum sp

I have been topping up water every 2 days as well as changing of water every 3 weeks.
There are quite a number of flora and fauna that have been added into the tank itself.

Initially, I started with the list above. But as time passed, there are various changes that have been done to aquatic landscape.

The Grow of Riccia (Riccia Fluitans)

As negative as it could be, I realized that the hairgrass has turn brown. But on the other hand there are so young hairgrass are growing too. I will have that updated if the hairgrass is growing well.
